Home Cook Cancellation and Refund Policy Event registration fees are refundable through the Eventbrite platform prior to the date of the scheduled event. Event registration fees are non-refundable after the start of the event, and attendance may not be substituted at a future event. Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts (AESCA) reserves the right to cancel any event not meeting the minimum enrollment level and, in this case, will issue refunds to enrollees. AESCA also reserves the right to modify recipes based on product availability. While extremely rare, events may be canceled or re-scheduled due to issues outside of the control of the host (AESCA), such as inclement weather conditions, at which point participants will be contacted via the contact information provided at the time of enrollment. Dissatisfied participants may request a refund in writing not later than 14 days following the date of the event. Requests may be submitted by contacting the AESCA Business Office. Refund requests must provide a reasonable basis for dissatisfaction, are not guaranteed, and are issued at the sole discretion of AESCA.
Home Cook class offerings are avocational/enthusiast classes and are not accredited by the Council on Occupational Education, do not qualify students to receive Title IV financial aid, and do not earn credit towards any licensed and accredited programs at AESCA.
Austin Home Cook classes are not approved or regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission.
