"My goal is to be there for my students in every capacity of education! I believe it is vital for a teacher to provide a safe, empathetic, and inclusive learning environment where we hear everyone’s voice and address all learning styles. I always remember the first rule of teaching: 'The student doesn’t care what you know until they know you care!' I try to bring my passion for teaching every time I enter the classroom. I want them to know that I am as excited to learn from them as they are to learn from me. Learning is a lifelong process. I’m glad we are all on the journey together!"

About

Chef Tracy has appeared on the popular TV show “Food Network Challenge” on 5 different occasions, walking away with two gold medals and one silver medal. She was the captain of the gold medal-winning team at the 2006 National Bread and Pastry Team Championship.

Chef Tracy was also captain of the silver medal-winning team at the 2009 Amoretti National Pastry Team Championship. In 2010, she won the ACF Western Regional Pastry Chef of the Year, and in 2011 she competed and won the competitor’s choice award for her depiction of the Grand Canyon during the Pastry Live competition.

And while all the awards are hard-earned and impressive, what Chef Tracy loves most is teaching and sharing the passion of pastries! She hopes to change the lives of her students and inspire them to make a difference in the culinary world.

She began her career in baking at the young age of 15. She has been sharing her passion for the fine art of pastries as a teacher since 1995. Tracy has been a chef educator at some of the finest culinary schools in Arizona, including Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu of Scottsdale, and Arizona Culinary Institute.
