Chef Megan was born in Denver CO, just after her family emigrated from the UK. She has traveled extensively between the UK and Colorado and now lives in Boulder. She has a pastry and a musical background, having fallen in love with the food culture in Italy while on tour in Europe. She made the transition to the food industry after retiring from touring opera. She’s worked in pastry education teaching baking classes for children with special dietary restrictions, worked as a chocolatier for both restaurant and retail, been featured in the Knot and Wedding Wire for catering services and wedding cake design, and owns/operates a small bespoke wedding and special occasion cake company in Boulder.
She loves to climb, craft, crochet, and of course spend time with her family. She’s currently working toward her Nutrition and Functional Medicine Coaching certificate to gain a greater understanding of how food impacts our health and well-being, and in her spare time, she’s a Volunteer Baker with Cakes for Kids.
