Fricano’s Deli
2405 Nueces St., Austin
Established in 2006, owner Paul Fricano opened Fricano’s Deli with the intention of serving fresh food with great service. Serving all of the classic deli sandwiches, from the reuben to the tuna melt and everything in between, there is something for everyone at Fricano’s.
Republic of Sandwich
2320 Hancock Dr., Austin
Republic of Sandwich is a craft sandwich shop that focuses on the meats that are cured in-house and the artisanal sides. This isn’t the kind of place that you grab a bag of chips at the register. Enjoy a Jive Turkey with a side of smoked mozzarella pasta salad and wonder why it took you so long to check out Republic of Sandwich.
Toastie’s Sub Shop
215 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin
If you’re not close to the South Lamar location, never fear, for there are three more Toastie’s locations! Toastie’s Sub Shop offers hot and cold sandwiches, tacos, wraps and even Lil Toasties for the kids. If you’re not feeling any of the above-listed lunches, Toastie’s has four different sandwiches to choose from too.
Tucci’s Southside Subs
801 E. William Cannon Dr., Austin
Owner David Tucci has been making sandwiches for over 21 years, so when you’re at Tucci’s Southside Subs, you know he knows what he’s doing. All of the meats used are premium Boar’s Head, and Tucci sources a lot of ingredients from local Austin farmers. Enjoy your sub cold or hot, each with a side of soup.
