Award-winning Chef Morrisa Engles combines plant-based eating with a robust yoga practice to promote her own health and the health of her clients.
After experiencing the personal benefits of a plant-based diet on her blood pressure and overall appearance, she has grown passionate about sharing healthy eating with others. She founded Melanated Flow, a virtual wellness studio that taught virtual yoga and healthy cooking classes. She is also the owner of FlvrFlow, an expansive business that offers private chef services, cooking classes, recipe development, food writing, and yoga classes.
When she’s not teaching at Escoffier or building her business, Chef Morrisa loves to travel. She’s been across Europe, Southeast Asia, Central America, and Africa to sample delicious food and learn about different flavors.
Chef Morrisa is a Certified Culinarian through the American Culinary Federation and won the bronze medal in their Student Culinary Competition back in 2011.
