While 2020 seems to be the year of unpredictability, we can undoubtedly state that at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts we are committed to our students, no matter what the circumstances, and we are extremely proud of our 2020 Austin Campus graduates.
Due to the measures needed to ensure the health and safety of all our Austin graduates and their friends and family, we hosted a virtual graduation ceremony this year. And though it wasn’t quite as personal as we had hoped for, we celebrated our pastry and culinary graduates in style with distinction, dignity and appreciation.
Escoffier CEO and President, Tracy Lorenz, provided heartfelt opening remarks. Advisory board member and great-grandson of Auguste, Michel Escoffier, also offered his congratulations and words of encouragement to all graduates.
However, one of the most anticipated portions of any graduation ceremony is for graduates to hear from their peers. And even virtually, the Escoffier Austin Class of 2020 speakers were excited to share their thoughts and experiences with their fellow graduates.
It’s with great pleasure that we share with you the Austin campus guest graduation speakers of the Class of 2020.

Near the end of the 2020 ceremony we enjoyed some very special comments from our faculty. Escoffier Chef Instructor, Robyn McArthur, shared the significance of the chef toque with our graduates.
